Fire Australia 2013: The Journey to Professionalism

Fire Australia 2013 is the premier fire protection industry conference, attracting key personnel, peers and significant representation from businesses, government and associations. The 2013 exhibition and conference welcomed attendance from a extensive range industry of professionals from all around Australia and New Zealand.

This year's theme was the Journey to Professionalism which addressed the growing need for industry personnel and employees to gain recognition of their skills and talent and the means to achieving this competence in their career development. Held from Wednesay 20th November till Thursday 21st November at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, the show attracted a range of Fire Industry personalities.

Ampac exhibited the complete solution in fire protection, showcasing the extensive families of products we manufacture for a range of differing solutions. Ampac demonstrated a collection of new products to our range including the new 7240 Ampac FireFinder PLUS Fire Alarm Control Panel, alongside the Intelligent Addressable LoopSense Fire Alarm Control Panel, SmartGraphics HD, Wagner Aspirating Smoke Detection, Emergency Warning and Control & Indicating Equipment and a range of new Ampac Ancillaries including Warning Signs and Door Holders.

Our Sydney CSO Manager and fellow staff members were present on the stand to greet and introduce their local customers to the additional products that have joined the Ampac product range, as well staff from Head Office in Perth. As platinum sponsors of the Fire Protection Association Australia, attending the show demonstrated that in industry is undergoing a level of change with the new 7240 Standard and how its going to affect the industry.. Each year Fire Australia highlights that Ampac is still here and is the only "Privately Owned and Operated" company still manufacturing products for the fire industry in Australia.
