Welcoming GFE to the Ampac Group

We’re delighted to announce the acquisition of G.F.E. – Global Fire Equipment [GFE], a manufacturer of fire detection and alarm systems, both control panel equipment and devices. The company is based in Faro, Portugal, and will join Ampac Group.

Around 200,000 people a year globally die in fires, and many of those deaths could be prevented by fire protection systems. As a result, Governments around the world are introducing new fire safety and evacuation regulations - focusing on prevention, early detection, and effective response. GFE aligns with Ampac’s purpose of preventing loss of life and catastrophic damage caused by fire.

We look forward to a smooth and successful transition as GFE join the Ampac and Halma family.
