Rotorua Hospital is located in Rotorua Lakes, New Zealand. The facility has 233 beds and provides children's health, maternity, surgical, medical, geriatric, and mental health services.
Ampac initially supplied a FireFinder Network with 12 FireFinder Fire Alarm Controls Panels and 30 Remote LCD Mimic Displays, giving a 42-node network with approximately 1500 loop devices. The FireFinder Fire Alarm System was managed by SmartGraphics.
Ampac recently provided a system upgrade, replacing the FireFinder with the FireFinder Plus, and replacing the LCDR's with SmartTerminals.
Ampac's EV3000 Networked Emergency Warning System handles the evacuation duties with special messages and evacuation sequences programmed to meet the requirements of the hospital.
