Ampac protects the University of Canterbury, Canterbury Engineering the Future Building.

The Canterbury Engineering the Future (CETF) project commenced in 2014 and included the rebuild or refurbishment of every wing in the engineering precinct. The CETF Building has four two-story wings which connect directly to the building's core.
Ampac was contacted to provide a tailored fire detection and evacuation system for the building, ensuring the safety of staff and students. The system included a 9 node network of FireFinder PLUS Intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panels, Occupant Warning (OWS) Evacuation System, Wagner Aspirating Detection, and approximately 650 devices.
