Addressable Open Area Beacon
The Addressable Open Area Beacon is a loop-powered, wall-mounted device that has been developed for use in situations where there is a risk that sounders will not be heard. It is weatherproof and can be used outside.
The beacon self test is achieved by means of an LED monitoring circuit. If the LEDs do not draw current when the device has been switched on by the control panel, a fault signal will be reported. A yellow fault LED will also be illuminated when a detection loop short circuit is detected.
