Xpander Hub & Cluster
The Xpander Hub and Cluster System comprise A Radio Hub capable of receiving information from a maximum of 31 Radio Cluster Communicators (RCCs). The RCCs are each capable of receiving information from up to 31 wireless detection and alarm devices from the Xpander range.
Communications between the wireless devices to RCC and RCCs to Radio Hub are bidirectional, fully monitored, and utilise the 915 MHz frequency in accordance with AS4428-9. The maximum number of permissible radio hops between RCCs and the Radio Hub is four as shown in the system schematic below.
- Radio Hub includes an Integral LCD Display for programming and diagnostics.
- RCC incorporates a mains power supply and is battery-backed.
